Here is a link to my Biology Blog where I talk about articles I have read and guest speakers that come to my class. this is to show my my work and what i thought about it. It will give an overview of what it was about.

The tiger is a marvelous animal. It prowls through its enviroment hunting prey to stay alive. It has lived for a long time withen places like asia which is their major home contnet.
Project Reflection
Over the past couple of weeks in biology we have been studying DNA and the technologies that are used to gather and examine it. We did this by going through a lab in class. This lab was a electrophoresis lab, where we had DNA from a crime scene (not real though) and two different suspect’s DNA. We also had the victim’s DNA. The DNA had been broken down already so after we made the argose gel, a jelly substance that had air pockets for DNA strands to travel through. Once we had put the DNA into wells within the gel, we hooked it up to a negative charge and positive charge. We put the positive charge at the opposite end of where the wells were for DNA is negatively charged and will pull towards the positive charge. Everyone has different lengths of strands and different amounts of each strand. No one has the same amount or length so when running a crime scene electrophoresis, you can figure out who the perpetrator was. Running electrophoresis on old crime scenes can sometimes prove people who were convicted of a crime, innocent, because their DNA did not match up with the evidence left at the crime.
After learning all of these neat things we began to create a project based around innocent people being convicted of a crime and then being set free due to a DNA text. Our class was put into groups of 3-4. My group chose a man named Rolando Cruz. He was convicted of rape, murder and kidnaping of a young girl. After 10.5 years he was released due to DNA testing. I was audio visual, which was where I created a mini power point that was between four and five minutes long talking about what his life story was. I included picture of the DNA testing process and picture I found that resembled what I was saying in the power point about the man.
This project taught me what a DNA finger print really is. It wasn’t a finger print that left a bit of skin, No it was much more than that. It was any part of the body that had molecule. Really it was just the 1% of the DNA within the molecule that was different from everyone else’s, not the whole thing. During this project it really helped me learn PowerPoint. Before this project I didn’t know how to time slides or put a recording on them. If I could redo this project, I would of put music with my voice and started sooner on the PowerPoint. I am proud of how it came out through. The slides are timed perfectly and it looks like a file. I’m proud of how it looks, for I think it represents an exanoree very well
My reproduction project
when we first started bio we started learning about the system in the human body. they were each brief so for a project we desided to go into alot of depth with one.
This project was to show the reproductive system. It was to post a web page to let people know more about it and learn intresting things.
We pretty much chose a leader and then she asighend the roles. this was or web site desighener. But first we were all given a choice on which system we wanted and which role we wated in creatinmg the web page.
i was given the role of exsplaining the system. I had to talk about and tell what it does. the meioses, the sperm travel and how the ovaries work.
I loved this project and it was fun to do. I am very proud of the absract pictures that I created for the egg and sperm traveling. though I wish i had found a better way of telling about it than the way I did. i pretty much just wrote about it. On my next project I would actully like to take more care with it if it gets messed up. which was hard for me after it happened. I wasnt real happy when it got deleted. I defently learn more about it and how to be care full when eating certain foods. Or think more about what happens when you reproduce.
